Tackley Show held on the Tackley Estate attracted a record number of entries which resulted in some of the show jumping classes being closed early in the day.

Seven year old owner/rider Charlotte Bury and her four year old Dartmoor, Underhill Imperial, took first place in the Lead Rein before going on to stand Small Pony Champion. Charlotte said, ” the pony was only broken-in at Christmas and the previous day (27th April), they had been awarded a ninth place rosette at the NPS Show at Malvern.” To add to their rosette collection, Charlotte and her seven year old Standard Shetland, Jacket Potato, took first place in the Shetland class - a class they won last year.
